Medway Children and Young People’s Strategic Trust Workforce Planning and Development Sub-Group

This group aims to promote, oversee and monitor integrated workforce planning and development for those working with children, families and young people

Key Responsibilities:

To contribute to the development of the Workforce Development Plans within the partners to enable Medway to deliver its national and local objectives and priorities.

To ensure that workforce planning and development supports the priorities of Medway Children and Young People’s plan

To ensure that there are effective systems for monitoring and evaluating impact, outcomes and cost effectiveness of development of common training programmes and events.

To promote access and equality of opportunity to integrated workforce development for teams and individuals within the partners.

To identify the priorities for integrated workforce planning and development within the trust and develop an action plan.
